About

Our Mission & Vision at Fair Winds Farm

Fair Winds Farm is dedicated to creating an environment in which mindful exploration of the extraordinary bond between animals and humans result in the benefits of mutual healing through care, partnership, and love.

Our programs aim to help forge an understanding of the relationship between human health, animal health and that of our environment and nature. We achieve this through therapeutic equine work, farm based education, creative expression, experiential learning and nature based programming.

Our individualistic approach provides therapeutic services to a diverse community of participants throughout the Merrimack Valley. While we may offer specialized group opportunities for clients with similar needs and for social connection, our program is designed to also support any individual seeking a sense of community, in need of a peaceful sanctuary to care for animals or begin a journey of mindful self-exploration.

Fair Winds Farm is a place of purpose and peace for all animals and humans to explore together.

About Jen

Jen is a PATH-certified CTRI and ESMHL instructor. Jen Wright’s focus involves looking at equine affiliative behaviors to understand how horses create and maintain social bonds and how those can overlap with human affiliative behaviors to create authentic lasting and positive friendships between horses and humans that can improve the welfare of both horses and humans. She is certified as ESMHL in PATH and works as a therapeutic riding instructor. She is also a Centered Riding Level 1 instructor. She has over 15 years of experience working with and creating programs for a wide range of populations and feels grateful to have had horses in her life since she was a young child.
